Chair Yoga
What Is Chair Yoga?
Chair Yoga is a gentle, accessible form of yoga where you move, stretch and build strength with the support of a chair. Itβs ideal for seniors, people with injuries or mobility limitations – or anyone who prefers not to get up and down from the floor.
The Benefits:
Chair Yoga offers the same benefits as a regular yoga class, including:
-
Better balance and stability
-
Improved flexibility and strength
-
Better posture
-
Relaxation and stress relief
Most of the class is done seated, and if we stand, the chair is there for support.
Who It’s For:
Chair Yoga is perfect if you:
- Feel stiff or less flexible than you used to
- Want to improve balance and stability
- Have an injury or mobility issue
- Donβt want to get up and down from the floor
- Simply prefer a gentle, supportive yoga class
What You Need:
No experience is needed and no special equipment is required. Just wear comfortable clothes, and bring a curious mind π
