How will this course be delivered?
This course is delivered online in five modules in video, audio and PDF format.
The course content is hosted at Namastream. You will get a link to join, you sign up for a (free) Namastream account, and everything will be available to you in there.
Plus, we have the private Facebook group, which is where all the chat and support will happen.
When does it start?
The first module will be made available to everyone on 1st January 2020.
However, if starting on 1st Jan seems a touch ambitious for you (and don’t worry, you won’t be the only one, 🙂 you can start any time up until 24th February 2020.
The course will close on 1st March 2020. This is so that you don’t do that thing where you sign up to something that you know is going to change your life, but never quite get around to it. If you’re a little slower to start, I’ll be there to gently remind you, and I’m a big fan of deadlines to help kick you into gear. 🙂 I really want you to swing into 2020 being the best possible version of you that you can be – so I will be here to help you every step of the way.
Each new module will be made available after you complete the previous module.
So, in theory, you could complete the whole course in a day – or you could spread it out over two months.
But, of course, I recommend doing one module a day and letting each lesson sink in, before moving on to the next one. That way, you only need to wait a week before you start feeling like a whole new you!
When is the best time to start?
That is entirely up to you, but I do recommend you look at your diary and factor in any holidays, travel, kids’ activities, family get-togethers (especially if you’re Down Under like me, where New Year is also summer!)
What’s the best time of day to do it?
Now, ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you, I am NOT a morning person (although years of yoga has definitely helped me move towards it!).
However, this course is definitely best done first thing in the morning, simply because there are things in there that I will ask you to think about as the day goes on.
But, of course, if mornings is not an option for you – you can do it whenever you like. All of the practices are suitable for day or evening – even in the middle of the night if you work shifts, or can’t sleep.
If you do the classes in the evening, maybe leave yourself a reminder for the next day to think about the things I discussed in the previous class or coaching session.
What if I miss a day?
Life gets in the way sometimes (even for yoga teachers!). So I’ve designed this course to be flexible. If you skip a day – no stress, just come back to it when you’re ready.
The course doesn’t expire until 1st March 2020, so as long as you start by 24th February (and do one lesson a day), you won’t miss anything.
When do I get the Bonuses?
These will be available to you on 1st January 2020, and you will have LIFETIME access to them. They will be in PDF and audio format, and they will live inside Namastream.
How do I join the Facebook Group?
After you sign up, you will get an email inviting you to join the Facebook group.
If you’re not on Facebook, you won’t be able to join the group, but don’t worry – you won’t miss out on any of the course content. However, you will miss out on discussions, questions and general chat. If you feel like signing up to Facebook, be assured that this is a totally private group and only those in the group will be able to see or comment.

What if I’ve never done yoga before?
That’s totally cool! ALL my classes are totally suitable for beginners and I offer plenty of variations and options to suit everybody’s body.
This course is completely accessible, wherever you are in your yoga journey. I’ve taught this class to total beginners and really experienced yogis, ranging in age from 16 to 76 and they’ve all felt the benefits.
Do I need any special equipment?
It would be great if you had a yoga mat – it doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive though. It just helps you to get better grip in some of the poses.
A few of the poses call for props – blankets, yoga bolsters and blocks. You can buy these online really easily OR you can use any old blanket or pillow from home. A dictionary makes a good stand-in for a block. 😉
What type of yoga is it?
I only teach gentle hatha and yin yoga. We alternate in this course between hatha and yin, finishing with a delicious combo. The classes will also include little snippets of pranayama (breathing), meditation and relaxation.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes you will need a reliable internet connection to access these classes.
Tell me more about Namastream.
I use a streaming service called Namastream to host all of my online classes and programs.
If you have already been doing online yoga with me, you will already have a Namastream account. If not, you will be prompted to set one up when you purchase this course (it’s free to set an account up).
The course content will not become available to you until 1st January 2020.
(it wouldn’t be a New Year Yoga Detox if we did it in December, would it?)
The course will be in two sections – the Program (available for two months) and the Bonuses (lifetime access).

What if I have technical problems?
Hmmm, technical problems. Alas, we all have them at some time or another. First thing to do is close your browser and re-open it to try again. Or maybe try another browser. I like Opera (little-known but excellent) and Safari.
Chrome definitely seems to provide the most problems! If that doesn’t work, try the good old computer re-boot.
And if that doesn’t work, email me and I will do my utmost to get you back up and running as soon as possible (with the help of the good people at Namastream!).
What is your refund policy?
