Our One-Day Relaxation Retreats are a treat for mind, body and soul. Take a day away from it all, and escape to Paradise.
These exclusive retreats are limited to just six participants, and feature a variety of yoga practices, along with breathing, meditation and relaxation exercises. You’ll enjoy lunch in the permaculture garden (freshly picked that morning), snacks overlooking Pittwater, and even some sessions down on the secluded beach just beneath the studio (weather-permitting). We also spend some time in nature, with a spot of forest bathing or silent walking, and we finish with a healing sound bath.
There’s plenty of free time too, allowing you a chance to meditate in peace, go for a walk along the shore or sit and read a book in the outdoor library.
Each retreat is themed, and themes are repeated through the year, so if you can’t make one, hopefully you can make a later date. All retreats are suitable for both complete beginners and more experienced yogis. If you’ve never done yoga before, this is a great entry point. The emphasis is on relaxation and stress-relief, rather than flexibility, exercise or tricky poses.
One-Day Relaxation Retreats are held on Fridays and Sundays through the year, usually once a month, and include two yoga sessions, as well as relaxation, meditation, breathing practices, a little education, a sound bath, snacks, lunch, notes and other take-aways. Props are also provided, so no need to even bring a mat - just yourself and the desire to escape from it all for a day.
