Terms

  • Jungle Bungalow and Eucalypt Bungalow: these relate to the types of accommodation on offer. Jungle and Eucalypt are the same size and have the same internal features. The advantages of Eucalypt are (1) Elevation – set slightly higher up in the forest (2) Location – closer to the Main Lodge.
  • Twin Share: share with one other person. You can share with a friend, or you will be allocated a room-mate. Remember, prices are per person, not per room.
  • Single Occupancy: you have the room to yourself

Room Availability and Waiting List

  • All available rooms are shown on the booking page. Click the blue buttons to filter by type of room and occupancy.
  • Each entry will show: (1) If the room is already booked (2) How many spaces are left in the room, if applicable.
  • If a room is already booked, it will appear with a red circle with a line through it. Another suitable room may still be available.
  • If there are no rooms of your chosen type/occupancy left, click the green Join Waiting List button on the room of your choice. If a space becomes available, you will be notified (you are not committed to anything, though).
  • Twin rooms may have two spaces available – you can book this room for yourself and a partner/friend (you will each need to book a ticket) – OR – you can book one space in this room, and you will share with the next person to book into this room.
  • If a twin room only has one space remaining, it means someone has already booked into that room, and if you book in too, you will be sharing with that person.
  • If you are unsure about room allocations, before booking in, please email me at hello@paradiseyoga.com.au

Note: the room numbers do not correspond to room numbers at the venue. These numbers are for my reference only.

Access

Access to the Paradise Yoga studio is through the owl door and down the steps.

There are around 50 steps, so unfortunately it is not suitable for wheelchairs or people who struggle with steps.

Please park on the street, being mindful of the neighbours. Note that if you park parallel with, or within 3m of, the double white lines in the middle of the road, you are very likely to get a ticket!

If You Are Unwell

Got the lurgy?

  • If you are genuinely unwell, especially with anything that may be contagious – regardless of the cause – pretty please stay home.
  • Just let me know (0416 147 009), and you will get a full refund, or a credit back on your pass, or you can transfer to another date (subject to availability).
  • Note: I promise that I will do the same if I feel unwell.

Hurt your back, knees not feeling great?

  • So many people cancel yoga when they hurt their back or their knees aren’t feeling great – when actually yoga can very often help you to feel better.
  • My general advice is – if you can get down the steps, you can come to class.
  • I am trained in adapting the class to suit everyone who’s in it, regardless of ability or injury.
  • I’ve had people with super-serious mobility issues and they always say they get just the same out of classes even though they can’t move in the same way as they used to be able to.
  • Lastly, you have permission to move your body (or not!) in a way that works for you.

A real gem, Parasdise Yoga it is bliss, as soon as I walk through the owl door, and down the steps, the stress is lifting, 11/2 hours of yin/rebounding and I’ve reached my happy place. And yoga nidra by Claire wow! It is beyond the feeling of a really good nights sleep! Relaxing, energising a must.
